SCOTT BAILEY BIOGRAPHY
For a decade Scott Bailey has worked as an actor in many films, starred in multiple tv series, and has appeared in over four hundred episodes of television. While acting, Scott also works as a host, voiceover artist, stuntman, painter, engineer and carpenter.

Scott Bailey starred as "David" in the Lifetime Original Movie, “Prayers for Bobby”, alongside three-time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Sigourney Weaver. Based on Leroy Aarons’ landmark book, Bailey stars as the romantic interest of Bobby Griffith (Ryan Kelley), a closeted gay teenager whose profoundly religious mother drives him to commit suicide due to her inability to accept his homosexuality. “Prayers for Bobby” has its World Premiere on Lifetime January 24, 2009, and also stars Henry Czerny, Austin Nichols, Carly Schroeder and Susan Ruttan.
Bailey previously starred as the lead role of “Roman” in 62 episodes of My Network Television's one hour dramatic series “Saints and Sinners” and as the tough action hero “Strike” in “Kamen Rider” on the CW. He is best known for his three-year series regular role starring as “Sandy Foster” on the CBS daytime drama, Guiding Light.
Scott Bailey's first starring role was opposite Virginia Madsen in the LIFETIME original movie, "Just Ask My Children". His other roles include having appeared in "The First Day", "Dawn of Our Nation", MTV's Undressed, Walker, Texas Ranger, Chicken Soup for the Soul and a guest star role on the hit series Law and Order: SVU.
Scott was born outside of St. Louis, MO but grew up in Illinois. He spent some of his youth living in Europe, traveling the world with his military family. He then settled down in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he graduated from New Mexico State University at the top of his class in Mechanical Engineering. Bailey then moved to San Francisco where he served as a fusion engineer at the NIF (National Ignition Facility), working on the world's most powerful laser. Scott enrolled in graduate school and began working toward completing his PhD in fusion engineering at UCLA, during which time he had an epiphany (while taking a mid-term) and walked out of class to fully pursue his acting dream.
Scott enjoys martial arts, stunt work and stage combat. Early in his career, he starred as John Connor in the Universal Studios live attraction Terminator 2:3D and as Peter Parker/Spiderman in “Spiderman Rocks!”.
Scott Bailey currently resides in Los Angeles.
